DILG Pampanga leads the scaling up of the Contact Tracing (CT) program through a coordination meeting on May 14, 2021 to discuss issues and concerns relative to the implementation of CT activities and further strengthening of the COVID-19 response program in the province.
DILG Provincial Director (PD) Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, in her message, recognized the efforts and hard work of the Local Health Office (LHO) as frontliners in the pandemic. She also encouraged them to continue upholding their service for public health and wellness as the country still grapples with the virus.
"Kaisa po ninyo kami sa labang ito. Mananatili po ang aming mahigpit na koordinasyon sa ating mga LHOs at Local Epidemiolgy and Surveillance Units (LESU) para masigurong iisa ang ating sagwan tungo sa isang mas malakas, ligtas at mas matatag na komunidad sa gitna ng pandemya," Fabia said.
Present in the meeting were the Local Health Officers, LESU Heads, DILG-hired CTs’ Team Leads, and the DILG Officers of each city and municipality in Pampanga.
Central in the discussion were the new CT Report template, issues and concerns in CT, and updates for the DILG-hired contact tracers.
The activity came after the DILG issued a new CT report template to assist the LGUs in calibrating their strategies to stop the transmission of the virus through a more effective, accurate, and responsive contact tracing program.
