Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Caraga Regional Director and Chairperson of the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force Lilibeth A. Famacion shared updates on the management of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs); contact tracing status; and the Management of the Dead (MDM) and repatriation of human remains of deceased overseas Filipinos during the 10th Regional Task Force (RTF) for COVID-19 One Caraga Shield Virtual Meeting on July 22, 2020.
The DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2020-101 dated July 17, 2020 entitled, “Guidelines in the Stricter Conduct of Home Quarantine for Mild and Asymptomatic COVID-19 Patients and the Implementation of Oplan Kalinga” was also presented by Famacion for the information of the body.
Among others discussed was the draft Caraga – Regional Action Plan for COVID-19 presented by Liza R. Mazo, Regional Director of the Office of Civil Defense and Chairperson of RTF for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, during the same meeting, RTF One Caraga Shield passed resolutions entitled “A Resolution Concurring with the Municipality of Claver, Surigao del Norte’s Implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine at Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation, including its Auxiliary Facilities for the period of July 8-21, 2020” and “A Resolution Concurring the Request of Butuan City to Implement a Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in Four Barangays Identified for the Period July 22 – August 5, 2020.”
