Aiming for the conferment of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Maturity Level II, the DILG Region 10 recently underwent an onsite validation by the Civil Service Commission-10 (CSC-10).
DILG 10 Regional Director Arnel M. Agabe said that the PRIME-HRM Level II validation and assessment is part of the Region’s preparation for ISO surveillance.
“With this, we should ensure that what we are doing are standardized and compliant to the laws and regulations set by CSC,” Agabe said.
Acting CSC-10 Chief Human Resource Specialist Maria Cristina T. Saligumba and Human Resource Specialist I Bethany Marie P. Naces served as the assessors during the two-day validation and assessment.
The assessors reviewed and validated the four core Human Resource systems namely: Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP), Performance Management (PM), Learning and Development (L&D), and Rewards and Recognition (R&R).
During the said activity, RD Agabe and the members of the Regional Human Resource Merit, Promotion and Selection Board (RHRMPSB), Performance Management Team (PMT), Human Resource Development Committee (HRDC), and Regional Parangal Committee (RPC) were interviewed to validate the evidence presented by the Department, as well as articulate their functions, roles and responsibilities as members of the different HR committees.
PRIME-HRM Maturity Level II (Process Defined) shall be conferred to an organization that has successfully complied with the evidence requirements of all four core HR systems. Upon conferment, the organization will be granted as Bronze Awardee.
