45th Batch Induction Training in CALABARZON

DILG CALABARZON started the 45th Batch Induction Training of its LGOOs II. A total of 27 LGOOs II will undergo the first phase of the training from October 3 to October 15, 2007 at the Local Government Academy Training Center (LGATC), Los Baños, Laguna.

The induction training aims to provide the participants with adequate knowledge and skills and appropriate working attitude and values to enable them to perform their functions effectively as front liners of the department.

In the conduct of the First Phase, lecture discussions, case analyses, open forums and group dynamics will be utilized to achieve the desired results of the activity.

Modules in the Center Training are:

* Essentials of an Effective Field Officer
* Dynamics of Local Governance
* Administrative Matters

The second phase of the training, which is the Field Immersion, will give the trainees an opportunity to implement DILG CALABARZON’s PPAs through first hand experience. Selected LGUs will be their designated places of assignment and the respective field officers assigned will be their mentors. This phase will be held for three months. The Revalida, the last Phase of the Induction Training will be held in the Regional Office for two days. It is in this phase that the final examination and recognition will be held. Feedbacks on the Induction Training will also be solicited in this phase for reference in future similar undertakings.
