DILG Welcomes New Regional Accountant
The DILG CALABARZON family is happy to welcome to its fold as its new regional accountant a bright and promising lady – Ms. Virgin De Lara Insigne. CALABARZON Journal recently sat with Ms. Insigne to learn her thoughts and aspirations about working in her new office.
CalJournal: Please tell us a brief background about yourself.
Ms. Insigne: I am Virgin de Lara Insigne, a native of the Paradise Island of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro. I graduated from the Central Colleges of the Philippines with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. I’m a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
CalJournal: What made you decide to apply in the DILG?
Ms. Insigne: I really wanted to pursue my career in the government service. Upon learning that there is a vacancy in the DILG, I decided to apply and fortunately, I was taken in by the management.
CalJournal: What are your expectations in your stay in this organization?
Ms. Insigne: I expect that I will be having a harmonious relationship with my peers and supervisors in and out of the office.
CalJournal: In your opinion, what can you contribute towards the continued success of the organization?
Ms. Insigne: I will be generous with my ideas. If I have an idea on how to improve something, I will make it sure that I will voice it out to the proper authorities for their comments and possible implementation. I believe that there are still a lot of things to be done and further improvements to be made in the government.
(Postscript: Goodluck to our new accountant. Continue the tradition of excellence of DILG CALABARZON)
