RD ABEJERO IS NEW DILG-NCR REGIONAL DIRECTOR

“I expect not only cooperation but involvement of everyone in all our programs.”
This was the challenge made by incoming DILG-NCR Regional Director Atty. Roberto C. Abejero  to the team of DILG-NCR following the formal turn-over of the DILG-NCR steering wheel of leadership  by outgoing Regional Director Rodolfo S. Feraren during a simple ceremony last November 5 at the DILG-NCR conference room.

In his acceptance speech, Atty. Abejero also reiterated to the DILG-NCR team  Secretary Ronaldo V. Puno’s marching orders to re-engineer DILG-NCR by making the National Capital Region as the showcase of DILG operations of the Department.
 
As the current Regional Director of DILG-Region IV CALABARZON, he was designated as the DILG-NCR Regional Director in concurrent capacity by authority of Department Order No. 2007-1016 dated October 26, 2007.

 Meanwhile, outgoing Regional Director Rodolfo Feraren, during his speech, thanked his superiors for their confidence and support, at the same time expressed appreciation to the DILG-NCR team for their loyalty, hard work and unwavering support.
“ I am confident that the region I held most dear to my heart will be safe in the hands and guidance of the incoming Regional Director”, he said before accepting the Plaque of Appreciation for his 41 years in the government service.

Finally, DILG Undersecretary for Local Government Austere A. Panadero expressed confidence on Atty. Abejero’s leadership citing his background as the DILG-NCR Assistant Regional Director in the past and his being adjudged as one of the most outstanding Career Executive Officer. He also thanked former Regional Director Feraren for his dedication and contribution to the Department.
