The Assistant Regional Director's Message

True to the spirit of teamwork that the TACT Strategy espouses, the Regional Management Team (RMT) of DILG CALABARZON has been created to oversee the day to day operations of the office and improve efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of the department’s PPAs. Among other duties, the RMT shall enjoin strict observance of established office policies and procedures; ensure the implementation of programs, projects and activities within the prescribed period or agreed timetable; and provide guidance to Provincial Directors and TACT Coordinators in addressing operational issues and concerns as well as administrative constraints.

We wish the best of luck for the 28 trainees of the 45th Batch Induction Training who shall be subjected to rigorous tests that will further hone them to be effective Local Government Operations Officers. Make this training count by giving your all-out support, attention and cooperation. You are in very capable hands as the Regional Management and the Training Team will ensure that you will be given the best training necessary for the success of this endeavor.

The office has started implementing the proposed office structure under the Rationalization Plan through proper positioning of personnel. To all the DILG CALABARZON employees who have been reassigned, may you take to your new stations the same vigor and efficiency that you have manifested in your previous assignments. Prove once again that you are “catalysts for excellence in local governance” in CALABARZON. Being deployed to a new place of assignment is truly a daunting challenge for anyone. It involves getting out of your comfort zone and venturing to a new environment unaware of the risks you will have to face. However, it also brings a fresh perspective, a reason to prove one’s worth all over again.

Congratulations to the employees who passed the written part of the Career Executive Officer Examination (CEOE) administered by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on June 10, 2007. Lionel L. Dalope and Darrell I. Dizon both stationed at the Regional Office and Enrico O. Damot of DILG Quezon were among the 375 out of 2,891 examinees who passed the written test stage of the unified examination system for the third or executive/managerial level of government service. Your DILG CALABARZON family is proud of you!
