Carmona receives P5M for “Gawad Pamana ng Lahi” awardMarch 8, 2013

CARMONA, Cavite, March 8 (PIA) --The local government has received P5 million worth of Performance Challenge Fund from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) after being adjudged as the 2012 Regional and National Winner of the prestigious “Gawad Pamana ng Lahi” – Municipal level.

The PCF is “an incentive fund to local government units in the form of counterpart funding to high-impact capital investment projects in the Annual Investment Program (AIP) and funded out of the 20 percent Local Development Fund consistent with national goals and priorities. It shall seek to rationalize national government intergovernmental transfers to LGUs, and encourage alignment of local development initiatives with national government development agenda and priorities.
