Four barangays Lupons from the NCR were cited in recognition of their significant contributions in the implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay Law for CY 2008.

The Most Outstanding Lupon Tagapamayapa for the Highly Urbanized City category was awarded to Brgy. Onse from the City of San Juan, and for the First-Third Class Municipality category, Brgy. Sto. Rosario Kanluran of Pateros.

Meanwhile barangays Pasong Tamo in Quezon City and Barangka Itaas in Mandaluyong City were also recognized being 2 nd and 1 st runners up respectively, also in the Highly Urbanized City category.(Public Information Unit)
