The JMC Regional Composite Team in the National Capital Region composed of the DILG, DBM, DOF, NEDA, MMDA, HLURB and COA spearheaded the JMC Forum for the NCR LGUs’ Planning Coordinators, Accountants, Treasurers, Budget Officers and DILG City Directors.

The move provided concerned local officials with updates on the Regional Development Framework, Planning Procedures for LGUs, Guidelines for Comprehensive Development Plan Formulation, Revised Comprehensive Land Use Plan and the New Government Accounting System (NGAS) Chart of Accounts in support of the JMC’s objective to synchronize local planning, investment programming, revenue administration, budgeting and expenditure management.

Likewise, it provided opportunity for participants to clarify issues on core LGU planning and financial operations and to establish closer LGU-NGA linkage.

Among those who shared vital information were MMDA AGM Corazon Bautista-Cruz, DILG-NCR Head for Programs and Operations Margie Biligan, DILG Local Development Planning Division Chief Priscella Mejillano, DBM-NCR RD Ruby Esteban, DOF-BLGF Diirector Jose Arnold Tan, HLURB FOSG Head Nora Diaz and COA Southern Luzon Head Vilma Sarino.
