The Department of Environment and Natural Resources will
spearhead the massive greening of the Pan-Philippine Highway, Manila North
Road, West Nautical Highway and the major highways all over the country,
through nationwide simultaneous tree planting activities on August 25, 2006 at
10:00 A.M.
This project is envisioned to strengthen public concern towards
environmental protection and to restore our air quality within standards in the
next five years.
