National Kidney MonthJune 1, 2012 to June 30, 2012

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1184 June is declared as the National Kidney Month. It aims to increase public awareness on the importance and care of the kidneys as well as the prevention and control of kidney ailments. This years theme is "Ikaw at Ako, Panalo sa Malusog na Bato.". The DOH, through the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) and its Renal Disease Control Program (REDCOP), conducts advocacy campaigns to increase awareness of renal disease prevention and the promotion of renal health
