REAL
PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION SYSTEM
(RPTACS)
What is RPTACS?
The
Real Property Tax Assessment and Collection System
(RPTACS) is also based on the 1991 Local Government
Code and is customized in accordance to the Local
Tax Ordinance of the LGUs. It consists of two (2)
system modules – Assessment Module for the
Assessor’s Office and Billing and Collection
for the Treasurer’s Office. The system maintains
records of all property classification. This module
is designed to automate the computation of real
property assessment and assist’s the Assessor’s
Office in generating reports and the Treasurer’s
Office for automatic calculation of real property
tax and other fees.
The application provides support tools to maximize
revenue collections that will establish appraisal
standards, methods and procedures for uniform and
equitable property valuation. The system ensure
accurate posting of transactions and generation
of timely reports and also ensure the integrity
and reliability of the data.
Functions:
- Computes
real property assessments for land and improvements,
buildings, machineries and plants & trees;
- Computes
for the real property market value;
- Generates
appraisal and assessment records, real property
tax declaration, real property tax order of
payment, real property tax account register
and other reports;
- Generates
report forms as recommended by the Bureau of
Local Government Finance (BLGF)
